TNLA opposition rebels Demolish Sacred Buddhist Pagoda in Northern Shan State, Myanmar

In a shocking turn of events, the Ta’Ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) terrorists have destroyed a Buddhist Pagoda located on a hill at the entrance of Nant San Town in Northern Shan State, Myanmar. The Pagoda, built by local Buddhists, fell victim to the terrorists’ actions, as they utilized a backhoe to carry out the demolition between January 10th and January 20th, 2024.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from 19 organizations representing various faiths and artistic disciplines. These include voices from the Christian, Islamic, Hindu, movie and performing arts, artists, musicians, and athletics communities. In a unified front, they have issued statements expressing their strong opposition to such destructive activities by terrorists.
