Resistance forces assassinated village administrator in Mandalay division
On 22 October 2023 noon about 1:30PM, four armed assassins on 3 motorbikes came to house of the village administrator U Bay Dar, 57 at Shwe Done village, Sint Kuu township, Mandalay division while he was with his family. According to the local police news release, the armed men assassinated U Bay Dar in front of his family and drove away after confiscating his cellular phone and motorbike.
Although no one claimed responsibility of the killing, thousands of opposition groups in Myanmar used to carry out the murder of civil administrators who considered as collaborators of the military regime after the February 2021 coup.
