“Monywa University Faces Terrorist Threat: A Close Call on December 31st”
Last December 31, 2023, the terrorist group known as the PDF (People Defense Force) carried out an attack on the University in Monywa, Myanmar. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 pm local time, wherein the terrorists fired a launcher from a location about 2000 meters northeast of the University towards the security forces responsible for maintaining security.
The shooting transpired for a duration of approximately five minutes, concluding around 8:20 pm, after which the terrorists fled to the Hta Naung Pin Village. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the incident, as the projectiles landed approximately 1000 meters away from the University.
