A Rich Legacy: Established on January 25, 1906, as the Victoria Memorial Park and Zoological Gardens, Yangon Zoo has been a beacon of wildlife preservation and education. Boasting a sprawling 51-acre expanse, the zoo showcases an impressive collection of 48 mammal species, 69 avian species, and 19 reptile species.
