Hospital Bomber injured while transporting IED
According to local sources, a 31-year-old female Ma Pa Pa Tun who is likely from local opposition forces, tried to plant an Improvised Explosive Device IED in Shwe Bo township public hospital in Sagaing division on 23 October 2024 morning.
The IED exploded prematurely in the hospital premises while on her hand. Her male accomplice ran away from the scene and she was left with non-life-threatening injuries.
Local police sources from Shwebo city which is situated on the upper Myanmar on the west bank of Irrawaddy river, say she is treated at the hospital, and police are trying to find her accomplice.
